Jister - Miscellaneous Album Review

Reviewer 1...

Picking the track list order of an album is an important part of artistic process. Balance to the listeners experience of the musical landscape is vital, creating continuity within the album is paramount, and how those tracks interact with each other is just as important as you take the listener on their journey.
Jister miscellaneous has that particularly box well ticked; as you move effortlessly through the album.
Some of the self produced tracks are a litttle celo heavy and lack bass. But in tracks such as Sick or Bored this dosent matter as your attention is firmly focused on his words; as he shares his feelings.
Then you come to tracks like Childish man, Morning and Boom bap (with more polished production) and this adds to the balance of the album. There is a good juxtaposition between the more philosophical, stripped down tracks, and the sound of big production. And when put together they complement each other nicely, giving it a good balance;which works well on a loop.
In conclusion, Jister miscellaneous is greater than the some of its parts and well worth a listen. "Fucked getting sucked in by the candy like Hansel & Gretal!"
